Supported Installation

With a Supported Installation, we bring the full kit on-site, fit the TMM Connects into your machines ourselves, and train your operators and supervisors on the system before we leave.

This is the right option if you'd rather not pull your own maintenance team off other work, or if you'd like hands-on training as part of the rollout.

What we'll do on the day​

  • Install a TMM Connect into each machine (wiring the 24V supply, clamping the current transducer around the spindle phase, mounting the antenna)
  • Set up and provision the tablets at each machine
  • Walk operators through the operator panel
  • Brief supervisors on the live dashboard, KPI views, and downtime reasons

What we need from you beforehand​

A few things to organise before installation day so everything can be fitted quickly and with minimal disruption to production.

Machine isolation​

Each machine needs to be available for isolation (powered off) for around 20 minutes.

Isolations don't need to be back-to-back — we'll work around your production schedule on the day.

Productive cable and 24V power source identification​

Before the installation day, we'll spend some time with one of your maintenance engineers to walk through what to expect inside the machine cabinets. This makes finding the correct spindle power cables and 24V power source much faster on the day.

  • Where the 24V supply sits inside each cabinet, and which sockets are free
  • The axis amplifier layout, so we can identify the spindle phase to clamp the current transducer around (often labelled "SP" or "SP1")
  • Any cabinet-to-cabinet variation across machine types in the shop

Tablets​

We'll bring 7 tablets with us, ready and provisioned. Each one comes in an industrial case with a cable, charger, and a mount to attach to a flat surface on the machine.

The tablets need to be able to charge in-situ for maximum effectiveness.
