Self Installation

With a Self Installation, we ship the TMM Connect kit directly to you and your team carries out the fitting on each machine.

This is the right option if you have in-house maintenance or electrical engineers who are comfortable working inside CNC machine cabinets, and you'd rather schedule the rollout around your own production windows.

What arrives​

Each shipment contains, per machine:

  • A TMM Connect unit with antenna
  • A DC power cable (for the 24V supply inside the cabinet)
  • One or more current transducers (for spindle power monitoring)
  • Velcro pads for mounting
  • A USB-C cable for initial WiFi provisioning

What your team needs​

  • A laptop with Chrome (WiFi provisioning is only supported on Chrome)
  • A qualified electrical engineer to work inside the machine cabinet — see the safety notice in the installation guide
  • Your WiFi network credentials
  • Around 20 minutes of isolated (powered-off) time per machine
